1. Overview the technology of Fiber Chip Seal Technology
Fiber chip seal technology refers to a new type of road maintenance technology that uses fiber seal equipment to simultaneously spray (spread) bitumen binder and fibers and chip, and after rolling, a new wear layer or stress absorption intermediate layer is formed.

2. Application
This fiber chip seal technology is suitable for the wear layer of bitumen pavement, the overlay layer of old bitumen pavement and the stress absorption layer of old cement concrete pavement overlay.

3. Advantages
1. Good stress absorption and dispersion ability. It can absorb the stress at the cracks of the road surface or the local concentrated stress caused by the vehicle load.
2. High abrasion resistance. Owing to the bitumen, fibers, and crushed stones are spread simultaneously, the mechanical interlocking system can effectively inhibit the aggregate from slipping and falling off.
3. High water resistance. The fiber seal layer has a high elastic modulus value and strong extension force, its tensile strength is far greater than the shrinkage stress caused by temperature changes.
4. High stability, fast construction. As the bitumen, fiber and crushed stone are spread in one vehicle, the construction speed is fast, shortening the construction period and reduced impact on traffic.
